How to Choose a Padel Court Supplier in the U.S.
Padel is new enough in the U.S. that two quotes for "a padel court" can describe very different things. One includes turf, lighting, shipping and installation. Another leaves half of that to you. This list helps you compare like with like.
1. What exactly is included in the price?
Ask the supplier to list the glass thickness, mesh and frame, doors, turf and infill, lighting and poles, shipping, installation and any covers. Then ask what is excluded: the base, drainage, electrical connection, permits and engineering are common items that are left out.
2. Who installs the court?
Find out whether the supplier has its own crew or uses partners, which states they cover, and who is responsible if something goes wrong on site. Ask for a written schedule that names who does each stage.
3. What does the warranty cover, component by component?
A single "10-year warranty" can hide a lot. Ask for the length for the steel structure, glass, turf, lighting and any cover separately, and read the exclusions. Ask how a claim works and who you call.
4. What proof can they show?
- Completed U.S. projects, with locations you can visit and owners you can call.
- Certificates for the glass (EN 12150 and, for U.S. projects, ANSI Z97.1 or ASTM C1048).
- Any endorsement from the United States Padel Association or membership in the American Sports Builders Association, if they claim one.
- Insurance certificates for the installers.
5. Who handles engineering and permits?
Wind, snow and seismic loads differ by state. Ask who prepares the drawings for your site, who submits the permit application, and what happens if the city asks for changes. See our guide to permits and zoning.
6. How long will it really take?
Ask for delivery time from order to your site, whether courts are in stock, and what the installation schedule is. Permits are usually the longest part. See how long a padel court takes.
7. What happens after the court is built?
Ask about spare glass panels, how quickly parts arrive, and who handles questions after handover. A cheap court is expensive if a replacement panel takes months.
8. What are the payment terms?
Get the deposit, milestone payments and cancellation terms in writing, and confirm what the final price covers.

Frequently asked questions
How do I compare padel court quotes?
Compare what each quote includes (glass, turf, lighting, shipping, installation), the warranty by component, who installs, the references and the complete installed total.
What should a padel court warranty cover?
Ask for the length for the steel structure, glass, turf, lighting and any cover separately, along with the exclusions and how to make a claim.
Do I need a USPA-endorsed supplier?
Endorsement is one signal, not a requirement. Ask what each supplier can prove: projects, certificates, insurance and references.
Which glass certificates should I ask for?
EN 12150 for the glass, and for U.S. projects confirmation of ANSI Z97.1 or ASTM C1048 compliance in writing.
